Where is Goblin*, Sohee*, and Horong* in 'Ragnarok M: Eternal Love?'
'Starred mobs' are upgraded versions of normal mobs in 'Ragnarok Mobile.'
Some are easy to find while others require a bit more searching.
Another Questions 101 for you guys in the World Chat. Finding the Goblin*, Sohee* and Horong*, or really, any Starred Mob in Ragnarok M: Eternal Love requires a few more steps than your usual "auto-targeting and kill all mobs" technique. After all, these mobs drop rare loots that are quite expensive on the Exchange. Auto-farming such items would defeat their overall exclusiveness quality, aside from crashing the market.

Hunting * mobs in the later parts of the game require more manual input as mid-game gameplay gently nudges you to have a more active presence in the game. Gone are the days of mindless AFK grinding once you hit the later levels. Ragnarok Mobile does well in teaching its players to play a more active role in farming to sort of /force/ them to understand how their skills work and when to use them in different situations, ie. AOE spam a certain area and pretty soon the whole map will be after you resulting in XP loss.

Also, manual gameplay is a required skill in party-specific instances like the Training Grounds, Valhalla Ruins and Endless Tower. People will hate you if you auto-attack and auto-aggro all the mobs on the map. Any reckless and careless gameplay in these instances will result in a party-wide kill.

I believe that Star Monster mechanics are a good starting point for players to actually start to understand how they can efficiently kill a certain mob and overall, add a change of gameplay to the grind. Mindless AFK farming starts to get boring really quick. A change of pace here and there cancels this out, supposedly. lol

Anyhow, onto the questions:

How to find the Goblin* in Goblin Forest in Ragnarok Mobile?

I touch a bit on this question in my "Where is Fred?" guide on the site but here is a more thorough guide with pictures!

First, you should unlock the Fooling Laser Gun item as a reward from completing the Reyen Quest. The Reyen Quest is obtainable from the Bard/Minstrel Quest in Geffen, near the cats and Fred NPC shop.

Next, buy a couple pieces (you'll be using them all the time in the game, trust me), probably around 5-10 pcs. (3kz ea), from Fred/Amazing Toys and head on over to the Goblin Forest. (West portal in Geffen.)
How to Find Goblin* in Ragnarok Mobile?
Placing the Fooling Laser Gun item in the quick slot tab from the inventory window.
Use the bottom right arrow to bring up the quick slot bar.
Place your Fooling Laser Gun item in your quick slots and remove all damaging skills and attacks from your auto-skill slots because we do not want to accidentally kill the talking goblin at first.

That's one talkative goblin. Location: Upper Left goblin spawn point.
Now comes the hard part: to look for a talking Goblin. Any goblin in the map will do as long as a dialogue box appears above them. Emojis and skill pop-ups are not considered dialogue boxes. The goblin has to actually say something along the lines of "Hey, I want to get bigger" etc. etc. It's kinda hard to look for these goblins when everyone's farming the map so I advise that you pick a time, maybe an hour before daily reset, when the amount of AFK farmers are at a minimum. I would recommend checking around the Ferris Wheel (or that big globe thing in the middle of the map), and at goblin spawn points at the top left, near the top-left portal.

Once you find the goblin, use the Fooling Laser Gun on him by tapping on it in your quick slot bar (aren't you glad you placed it there first?).
How to Find Goblin* in Ragnarok Mobile?
Successful Fooling Laser Gun used twice, once, to see if it grows bigger and the second, to turn it into a Goblin*.
If the goblin shrinks, kill it, this is a failed attempt. The goblin should visibly grow in size and when it does, use the Fooling Laser Gun on him again and he should transform into a Goblin*. Congrats! Now, you can take a picture of him if you haven't unlocked his variant in your Adventure Book and then proceed to murder him you sadistic you.

How to find Sohee* or Horong* in Payon Dungeon in Ragnarok Mobile?

You will need the Ghost Camera upgrade from the Adventure Skill NPC in Prontera (topmost of map). Buy it from him for one adventurer skill point and a couple zenies. (You should've unlocked this way beforehand because you needed to take a picture of Ghostring in the Ghost Ship (quest from earlier levels). If you don't understand what I'm talking about, why hello there AFK-for-life player. xD)

Head on over to Payon Cave 1F or 2F, 1F if you can handle the aggro mobs or 2F if you want a more peaceful hunt.

Common spawn points would be at the bottom of the maps, right-most part, though if you're unlucky, spawn points have been randomized on the whole map. D: (1F: around the entrance to temple, 2F around the bottom half of the map.)
How to Find Sohee* or Horong* in Ragnarok Mobile?
Bluish-purple mist as viewed through camera with Ghost Camera upgrade.
Put on your camera and start to walk around. You will see a floating bluish-purple mist of sorts that is not visible when your camera is turned off or you don't have the Ghost Camera upgrade.
How to Find Sohee* or Horong* in Ragnarok Mobile?
Unlucky me spawned anything but a Sohee* or Horong*.
Take a picture and immediately exit your camera. Either a Horong* or Sohee* will spawn and these summon Munaks or Bonguns. Be careful! If you're unlucky like me, some other mob (Soul) will spawn. Retry until you get the mob you need.

Congrats! You've found a Horong* or Sohee*!

How to find Deniro* in Ant Hell/Sograt Desert in Ragnarok Mobile?

Pretty straightforward, you can AFK this if you're strong enough (though I reckon this would need at least two characters, one that targets ant eggs and one that targets Deniro* or your own setup. Never tried to AFK Deniro* so I am not so sure how to AFK farm lol). Target ant eggs in the Sograt Desert or the Ant Hell dungeon. Be warned that various mobs spawn from ant eggs: mini versions (read: not minibosses) of ants, larger versions of ants or the coveted Deniro*. Spawns are usually in groups and the larger versions hit hard. Be careful and get those Flywings ready!

List of Star Mobs will be updated as I unlock more ways to search for them. :)
