Where is the Stone Sword in "Ragnarok M: Eternal Love?"

I see this question in the World Chat all the time. Probably because, (1) people are too busy to pay attention to the flavor text, (2) the sort-of "auto-questing" option made them think that all quests will appear as points on the map, or (3) they're playing the game while at work *cough* youknowyoudothis *cough*.

The infamous Stone Sword quest (alongside the Sunset Painting, Fred and Goblin*) is an objective that suddenly drops the player's hand to check if they've been paying attention to the flavor text. In the quest window, all it will tell the player is to look for the Stone Sword in the South Gate of Prontera. Where exactly the Stone Sword is on the map will not be pointed by the quest even if you murder the quest window with a bunch of taps.

If you've never encountered the Stone Sword quest (part of ) then perhaps you either missed its green (subquest) quest icon in the West Gate map, deliberately ignored it to just do the main (red or purple) quest line, or perhaps focused instead on grinding and power-leveling your way through. The Stone Sword is not really required, it's a green quest after all, but the XP rewards you get from it does help your early days of leveling as well as unlocks your first ever Title in the game (Sun/Moon).

Where is the "Stone Sword" in Ragnarok M: Eternal Love?

The Stone Sword is located around this area of the South Gate map.

As you can see, the Stone Sword is not appearing on my map anymore (read: if you have the quest, the Stone Sword appears exactly where I'm standing, give or take a few inches) as I've already completed the quest since day one and unlocked my "Sun" title.

This is the general area in the South Gate map where the Stone Sword would be located if I still had the quest active. It's around 11 o'clock of the South Gate map and would be seen as a sword stuck in the dirt. If you exit from Prontera to enter the South Gate, just walk to the top-leftmost part of the minimap with the tiny little walkway and you should see the Stone Sword.
